The NCA MNT Internship Prep Program
A program to prepare the nail technician for the 40-hour Internship in a medical office.
***Requires completion of the Advanced Nail Technician and the Wellness Nail Technician Certification as prerequisites. ***
NCA Internship Module prepares the WNT for the 40-hour internship. The course contains instructions for attaining the Internship, discussions on the activities experienced and in how to have the best experience possible, plus videos. Important downloadable forms for use during the Internship are in the program, also.

We believe our graduates need to know what their clients experience when being referred to a physician. This happens during the Internship. It also gives a nail technician who desires a career change to working in a medical office experience in what happens in a medical office. After, a decision toward working in a medical setting can be made on an informed basis.
The purpose of the Internship is to bring an awareness to the MNT of what their clients experience upon referral, to bring all the learnings into perspective and awareness, and to earn the MNT Certificate. A Procedure Log is signed by the proctor podiatrist and sent to NCA for verification of completion of the Internship.
